Co-Chairs:

In recent years, there has been increased attention to the development and implementation of an HIV prevention cascade model – parallel to the HIV treatment cascade – as a framework for assessing what is and is not working in HIV prevention for different populations. This session will highlight some of the core benefits of and challenges in devising a standardized HIV prevention cascade model, as well as provide examples of country-level efforts to populate such a model with real programme data.
